Power CD+G Burner helps you prepare Karaoke parties by letting you easily manage Karaoke files. It lets you burn and rip CD+G Karaoke discs containing various types of song files: BIN, CDG, MP3G, ZIP, KMA, and MCG. Almost any kinds of CD-R drives are supported.
The 4 major functions of Power CD+G Burner, each represented by an interface tab, are Burn, Rip, Copy and Convert. Unfortunately, because of various issues caused by the improper detection of the connected drives and of the supported transport layer (SPTI, SPTD and ASPI), the “Rip” and “Copy” tabs couldn’t be used on my computer and accessing them would make the application crash. Anyway, its interface is indeed very simple and intuitive to anyone, including complete beginners, even though it cannot be resized or customized and it looks a bit dull.
I like its conversion feature quite a lot as it offers support for setting up individual parameters for the output file: bit rate, channels, frequency. I also like the fact that it offers a neat and handy built-in CD case label printer.
In conclusion, Power CD+G Burner is a nice tool for any Karaoke aficionado. It would be even better if it had its driver-related reliability issues fixed. At the moment, having this tool working properly on your computer seems to be a matter of luck to me.
